Detailed 14 Days Uganda Camping Safari Tour Itinerary
Day 1: ENTEBBE – KAMPALA
Met on arrival at the Entebbe International Airport by our Uganda Safari rep. You will be briefed on this 14 days Uganda camping safari tour. Later you will enjoy a short transfer to Kampala.
You will be checked in at your Kampala hotel. On this day you are booked at Red Chilli Kampala on bed and breakfast basis.
Day 2: KAMPALA – JINJA – MBALE
Start your day with an early breakfast in Kampala. You will leave to the second largest industrial town in Uganda, Jinja. This town is characterized by the Asian quarters. There is the brewery industries and the colorful gardens.
You will visit the Source of the Nile from Lake Victoria and the monument of Gandhi. This 14 days Uganda camping safari tour will also go to the Hindu temple. This is before you proceed to “Ntanda Falls”.
These are spectacular rapids on the river Nile a few kilometers from the source. You can opt to try the unforgettable white water rafting at cost. This is one of the main attractions in Jinja.

Day 3: THE SIPI FALLS

The starting point is from Crow’s Nest, a camping and lodging site. This is also where community projects and training of local guides are organized. You will visit the caves and the plantations of coffee, matooke and sugar cane.
Return back in time for lunch before you drive back to Kampala. Drop off will be at Red Chilli Kampala booked on bed and breakfast.
Day 4: KAMPALA – LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast your 14 days Uganda safari tour drives westwards. Your destination today is to Lake Mburo National Park. You will have a stopover at the Equator for photographs.
Proceed to your Lake Mburo National Park accommodation for check in and lunch. Some rest will prepare you for the evening game drive at 1600hrs. This is an ecosystem of water, wetland and savannah dominated by acacia trees.
You will be looking for impalas, Ugandan kobs, warthogs, bushbucks, waterbucks and zebras. Also, in your list should be oribi, topi, buffaloes, baboons and other monkeys. You will have dinner and overnight at the UWA Bandas.
About Lake Mburo National Park
Lake Mburo National Park lies in the middle of an extensive rich acacia woodlands. It is one of Uganda’s most spectacular and breath-taking game parks in Uganda.
Lake Mburo National Park is a gem of a park, located close to the western high way. This connects Kampala to the parks of western Uganda.
It is a special place with a medley of habitats. These ranges from dry hillsides, rocky outcrops, to bushy thickets. we also have open and wooded savannas to forest, lakes and swamps.
It has a sculptured landscape of rolling hills and idyllic lake shores. There are forest galleries, seasonal and permanent swamps and grassy valleys. All support a wealth of wildlife in a tropical setting.
Lake Mburo National Park is different from other parks. It’s the best park to view the Eland, Impala, Zebras and Acacia associated birds.

Day 5: LAKE MBURO – QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
Your Uganda camping safari tour wakes up to breakfast before youdrive through Kihihi town to the Ishasha sector. This is the southern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park.
The road is particularly dirt and passes through the slopes of the hills. The area is having a wonderful landscape. You will stop for lunch before embarking on a game drive in search of the tree climbing lions.

About Queen Elizabeth National Park
Queen Elizabeth National Park is located in southwestern Uganda. It occupies an area of 764 square miles (1,978 square km). This is in a region of rolling plains east of Lake Edward and foothills south of the Rwenzori Mountains.
The park is named after Queen Elizabeth II and was established in 1952. The park is known for its wildlife; among the species are hippopotamuses and elephants. There are leopards, lions and chimpanzees. It is now home to 95 species of mammals and over 500 species of birds.
The area around Ishasha in the southern sector of the park is known for tree climbing lions. The park is also famous for its volcanic features, comprising of volcanic cones.
There are deep craters and many with crater lakes such as Lake Katwe from which salt is extracted.
Day 6: QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
Enjoy an early breakfast before embarking on a Game drive. This will be at the Mweya peninsula and Kasenyi Plains in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Return to your lodge for lunch and some short rest.
In the afternoon go for the exciting launch trip along the Kazinga channel. This is a natural channel that connects Lake Edward and Lake George.

Day 7: FORT PORTAL

The park is located in the North. Murchison Falls National Park is the largest protected area in Uganda. It covers an area of 3.840 Kmsq, whose name derives from the falls on the Victoria Nile. The Murchison falls is one of the most attractive feature in the whole of East Africa.
The drive takes you through Hoima where you will stop for lunch before you follow the coast of Lake Albert. The panorama is fascinating, especially when reaching the Albertine Rift Valley escarpment.
You will proceed to Murchison Falls National Park through Masindi. Arrive at Red Chilli Camp or Yebo Safari Camp for dinner and overnight.
About Murchison Falls National Park
Murchison Falls National Park is the largest in Uganda with an area of 3,840 km (1,480 sq mi). It is one of Uganda's best safari parks for game viewing safaris and birding tours. The park is bisected by the Nile River, which first races down 80 km (50 miles).
These white-water rapids plunges 40 meters (130 feet) dow. It goesover the rift valley wall at Murchison Falls, the centerpiece of the park.
Enjoy the sight of the world's longest river. This is as it wind its way through the park and plunging through a narrow gap is unforgettable. The falls are stunning, notable not so much for their size as for their immense power.
Day 9 : MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK
