You will be met on arrival at the Kigali International Airport. This will be by our Rwanda safari representative. He will brief you on the 4-day Rwanda gorilla trekking safari.
You will leave Kigali for Volcanoes National Park. Your arrival will be in time for lunch. The afternoon is left for you to enjoy at leisure. Your dinner and overnight will be at La Palme Hotel.

In smaller groups of 5s you will set off to the forest. This is to track the rare Golden monkeys. You will encounter other primate species as vervet monkeys and baboons. There are a variety of bird species and butterflies.
Your guide will help you with the identification of whatever animal you will meet. The guide will be ready to answer your questions about fauna and flora. You lunch on this day will be picnic boxes you carried from your hotel.
Return to your lodge in the afternoon. The evening will be at leisure. Your dinner and overnight will be at La Palme Hotel.

On arrival, you will enjoy a Kigali city tour. This takes you to Gisozi, The Kigali Genocide Memorial Centre. You will also be able to visit colorful markets and craft centers. You will get to learn how people have managed to move on after the genocide. First hand narrations will help you paint a picture of what really happened.
Today’s lunch is on own arrangement. You will later be dropped at your hotel in Kigali. For those flying out, a transfer to the airport will do.
