Day 1: Maputo – Bilene

Your Mozambique safari tour will be headed to the tropical beaches of Bilene. Your evening ends with a typical Portuguese dinner. Your night will be spent camping under the African star-filled sky.

Day 2: Bilene

You will wake up to an early morning lake swim on this Mozambique safari tour. The clear waters of the inland lake stretch for 27 kms. This will be followed by breakfast which is served as you relax. This will be on the beach at your campsite.

Day 3: Bilene – Morrungulo

Your Mozambique safari tour will depart the inland lakes of Bilene. You will make your way further North. This will go through the towns of Xai Xai and Maxixe.

The drive goes through the coconut plantations to the tropical beaches of Morrungulo. Your campsite tonight will be an old army base. A late afternoon swim in the warm Indian Ocean is a must.

Day 4 – 5: Morrungulo – Bazaruto Archipelago

You will wake up to your Mozambique safari tour breakfast. This is before hitting the road as you continue north. Coconut trees will take up most of the space in this once forgotten country.

In-land lakes also make up for the beauty. This is as you make your way up to the Bazaruto Archipelago. The islands here give you a feeling once only experienced by the explorers of the past.

The Mozambique safari tour days are spent in the fresh air. This is on the beaches of Benguera and Bazaruto Islands. You may snorkel off the Dhow on the two mile reef. Here there are many species of fish. In season you may see the Green and Leather- Back Turtles and Manta Rays.

Fresh seafood and catch of the day is one of the attractions of this area. You will be accommodated in a dorm will all the three meals of the day.

Day 6: Bazaruto Archipelago – Morrungulo

The day on Mozambique safari tour begins with breakfast. You will make your way back Vilonculo. This will be done by dhow after a tropical experience on the Islands. You will then head south back to Morrungulo Campsite. Enjoy the afternoon by relaxing on the beach.

Day 7 – 10: Morrungulo – Tofo Beach – Bamboozi Backpackers

You will begin day 7 of Mozambique safari tour without any rush. You have a bit more time to sleep in this morning. After breakfast, your Mozambique safari tour will depart.

You will drive through the coconut trees once more through the markets of Inhambane. Your destination will be to the beaches of Tofo. This is where Whale Sharks are found in plenty. You will arrive at your accommodation in the early afternoon.

The following 3 days are spent at your own will and leisure. You will have time to relax at the bar. You will enjoy the beach or taking leisurely walks. A Whale Shark snorkel dive is included in the Mozambique safari tour.

Your guide will organize this with one of the diving schools in the area. You will spend your nights on half board basis at the Bamboozi Backpackers.

Day 11: Maputo

You will begin the Mozambique safari tour with breakfast. After time spent on the pristine beaches, your journey to Maputo begins.

Maputo is the capital city of Mozambique. You will spend the last evening with the locals. This will be at the true Mozambique fish market.

Here you can relax and reflect on your Mozambique experience. You will have the night camping in the city with all meals provided today.

Day 12: Departure

You will start the last day of your Mozambique safari tour with breakfast. The morning will be at leisure. You will later be transferred to the airport in time for your departure flight.
