8 Day Northern Madagascar Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Antananarivo – Madagascar

You will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel in Antananarivo. It is at your hotel that you will be briefed on this Northern Madagascar tour. You will if you’ve arrived early tour the beautiful capital of Madagascar.

In 1990, Bemaraha was the first area in Madagascar to be classified a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and it also became a UNESCO National Cultural Heritage Site in 1991. Part of the reserve was changed to national park status in 1997.

This reserve contains one of the highest density of primates of any forest in the world. Its dense forests support one of the largest and least disturbed populations of crowned lemurs.
