Detailed 12 Day Cheap Holiday in Kenya Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi
Met on arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Our representative will brief you on this cheap holiday in Kenya safari.
Later you will enjoy a transfer to your hotel. You will spend your night at the Ngong Hills Hotel. Here you are booked on bed and breakfast basis.
Day 2: Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve
Start your day with a drive north through the lush Kikuyu farmlands. You will pass coffee plantation in the cool Kenyan highlands.
Your destination will be Samburu National Reserve. Your arrival will be in time for lunch at the Ololokwe Guest Resort. At 1600 hrs, enjoy an afternoon game drive within the park.

Samburu National Reserve
The Samburu National Reserve is a natural border. It is found between the fertile soil around Mount Kenya and the Semi desert north of Northern Kenya.

Vegetation is limited to a narrow stretch of doum palms tamarind and some woodland.

Aberdare national park is north of Nairobi. It is in the southern end of the Aberdare mountain ranges between Nyeri and Naivasha.

This will start at 1600hrs. Later return back to the camp for dinner and overnight.
Amboseli National Park
Amboseli National Park is situated 140 km south of the capital city Nairobi. This premier national park is neighbored by Tanzania.
This park covers a total land area of 392 sq km. The neighbouring area is inhabited by the nomadic Masai people. They translate ‘Amboseli’ to ‘salty dusty place’ in their local language.
There are 5 gates that enter into this park. They are the Airstrip, the Kulunyiet, Iremito, Meshanani as well as the Kitirua gates.
The Amboseli area experiences 2 rains seasons every year. The long rains come for only 2 months starting in March to the end of April.
The short rains that start in November to the end of December. This result into an average amount of rainfall between 200mm and 700mm.
Day 10: Amboseli – Tsavo West National Park

The Tsavo West National Park is the other half of the largest protected area. The rest is protected by the Tsavo East National Park.
The name means ‘place of slaughter’. It is named after an ancient battle between the Maasai and Akamba tribes.

Day 11: Tsavo West – Tsavo East National Park

Later you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Tsavo east National Park
Enjoy the sight of dust-red elephant wallowing, rolling and spraying each other. This is with the midnight blue waters of palm-shaded Galana River. It is one of the most evocative images in Africa.
Enjoy the sight of the 300 kilomtere long Yatta Plateau. The longest lava flow in the world, make for an adventure unlike any other in the Tsavo East.
