Meet and greet upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. This is by our Kenya safari representative.
You will be briefed on your Amboseli Tsavo West East safari. Leave driving South through the Masai land to Amboseli National Park.
Your arrival will be in time for lunch at the Amboseli Sentrim Lodge. Some short rest will prepare you for the afternoon game drive at 1600hrs.
Later your Amboseli Tsavo West East Safari will return back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Amboseli National Park is in Loitoktok District, Rift Valley Province of Kenya.
The park is 39,206 hectares (392 km2; 151 sq. mi) in size at the core of 8,000 square kilometres (3,100 sq. mi) ecosystem that spreads across the Kenya-Tanzania border.
The park is famous for being the best place in Africa to get close to free-ranging elephants. There are other African wildlife species also here.
Other attraction of the park includes opportunities to meet the Maasai people. The park also offers spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro. This is the highest free-standing mountain in the world.
You will have the full day spent in the Amboseli National Park on Amboseli Tsavo West East Safari. This will be on morning and evening game drives.
Amboseli National Park is located at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro. This park has much African wildlife and the fact that it is a plain makes sighting of animals much easier.
On a clear day while on Amboseli Tsavo West East Safari, you will be able to see the tallest mountain in Africa, The Mt. Kilimanjaro. All your meals on this day will be at the Amboseli Sentrim Lodge.
The day will start with an early morning game drive. This is to have the best view of as much wildlife as possible. This is to be followed by breakfast at your lodge before checkout.
You will then leave with game drive en-route to Tsavo West National Park. This park is also referred to as the Land of the Man Eaters.
Tsavo West is well known for the Lions that terrorized railway workers in the 1890s. They paralysed the construction of the Kenya – Uganda Railway Line for some time. You will arrive at Ngulia Safari Lodge or Similar in time for lunch.
At 1600hrs, enjoy an afternoon game drive within the park. This will be to introduce you to the game in the area. Return back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Tsavo West National Park is 13,747 sq.km. The park was opened in April 1948.
Tsavo West is a beautiful, rugged wilderness. The savannah ecosystem comprises of open grasslands, scrublands, and Acacia woodlands.
There are belts of riverine vegetation and rocky ridges. These include the Poacher’s Lookout. Here visitors can see the teeming herds in the plains below.
Tsavo West offers some of the most magnificent game viewing in the world.
Tsavo West National Park is more mountainous and wetter than its counterpart, Tsavo East. It has swamps, Lake Jipe and the Mzima Springs.
Tsavo West is known for bird life and for its large mammal’s. They include black rhino, Cape buffalo, elephant, leopard, hippo and Masai lion.

There are also other smaller animals that can be spotted in the park. These are the bush baby, hartebeest, lesser kudu and Maasai giraffe.
You will have an early morning game drive in Tsavo West National Park. This will be followed by breakfast and check out.
Later, you will leave for Tsavo East National Park with game drive along the way. Your arrival will be in time for lunch at then Voi Wildlife lodge.
After a short rest you will go for afternoon game drive at 1600hrs. Later in the evening you return back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Tsavo East National Park is the largest protected area in Kenya. This is a land of unparalleled biodiversity. It is the natural home to Africa’s “Big Five”. They include the black rhino, Cape buffalo, elephant, leopard, and of course, lion.
The park is in southwest Kenya between Nairobi and Mombasa. It’s quite close to the beaches of the Kenya Coast and can be a 1-day Tsavo East safari for those who wish a quick getaway.
But on your game drives here you can also come upon eland, gerenuk, impala and Masai giraffe.
The birds! Over 500 species like the black kite, lovebird and sacred ibis await your discovery.
