At 5896m Mt Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain and one of the continent's magnificent sights, it has three main volcanic peaks, Kibo, Mawenzi, and Shira.

Lake Manyara National Park is one of the smaller Tanzania National parks. Although many Tanzania safari tours skip it, we highly recommend you make the detour.

The jewel in Ngorongoro's crown is a deep, volcanic crater, the largest unflooded and unbroken caldera in the world. About 20kms across, 600 meters deep and 300 sq kms in area.

Ruaha National Park was created in 1949 but in 2008, the Usangu Game reserve merged its borders with Ruaha. This transformed it into Tanzania’s largest national park.

Serengeti National Park is undoubtedly the best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world, unequalled for its natural beauty and scientific value, it has the greatest concentration of plains game in Africa.
