Diani Beach chalets is a family run business. It has a long and varied history from its beginnings. Diani Beach chalets was establishes some 40 years ago. Diani Beach chalets has a dedicated and loyal team of staff. Most of the staff has been with Diani Beach chalets since 2004. Diani Beach chalets staff will endeavor to help our guests in any way they can.
Diani Beach chalets offer cheap Mombasa accommodation in south coast Kenya. Diani Beach chalets is situated on Diani beach. This is approximately 35 kms from Mombasa. There is an easy access by road, train and air. There are also direct flights from Nairobi into the nearby Ukunda airstrip. Their budget accommodation in Mombasa offers plenty to do due to our fabulous location.

There are lots of other activities for you at Diani Beach chalets. You can simply relax, do a bit of sightseeing or take in some local trips. Cottages at Diani Beach chalets
Diani Beach chalets is located on a prime part of Diani / Galu beach. They offer a range of good budget cottages. Most of the cottages here have a beach view.
Sea Facing Cottages
There are 6 two bedroom sea facing cottages. They are suitable for a 4 persons. There is an option of extra person in some of the cottages. These are one double bedroom and twin bedded room. They have a living room, bathroom, and equipped kitchen. There is a verandah overlooking the ocean and beach. There are three bedroom cottages suitable for 6 persons.
This has 3 twin bedded rooms, two bathrooms, kitchen and large verandah. This have beautiful views over the ocean and beach.
Garden cottages
There are 2 two bedroom cottages suitable for 4 persons. They come with 2 twin bedded rooms and a living room. They have an equipped kitchen, bathroom and verandah. The verandah is overlooking the gardens. The three bedroom cottage is suitable for 6 persons. It comes with 3 twin bedded rooms, living room and an equipped kitchen. There are two bathrooms and verandah overlooking the gardens. There is also the small one bedroom detached cottage. This is suitable for 2 persons. This has a bedroom/living area. There is a small equipped kitchen in this unit. It also has a verandah overlooking the gardens.
Diani Beach chalets has massionette accommodation. This is a small one bedroom accommodation with double bed and single bedroom. It comes with an equipped kitchen, bathroom and outside terrace/verandah. There is a larger one bedroom massionette on the first floor. This comes with a double bed and single bedroom. It has its living area combined. There is a kitchen and bathroom too. The verandah overlooks the gardens and some view of the ocean.
Cancellation / Prepayment
PAYMENT & RESERVATIONS POLICY
Reservation and confirmation of a room at Diani Beach Chalets has requirements. Clients are required to pay 50% down payment for the requested services. The balance will be required at least 14 days prior to your date of arrival.
African Safari Tour will hold a reservation for up to seven days at a client's request. This is to allow the client time to send a deposit payment. This is if Diani Beach Chalets booking are over a month prior to the service. This must be received before we can confirm your booking. If confirmation is not received within the seven days all blocked rooms at Diani Beach Chalets will be automatically released for re-sale. The full amount of the service must be made within 14 days of date of arrival at Diani Beach Chalets. As for bookings within a month of service, full payment shall be requested for. This will be required before confirmation of Diani Beach Chalets is undertaken.
CANCELLATIONS
All cancellations must be received in writing. This will take effect from the date received by African Safari Tour. The following cancellation charges will apply.
More than 56 days before departure: No cancellation fee
56-49 days before departure: 25%
48-29 days before departure: 35%
28-0 days before departure: 100%
The non-issuing of an invoice or non-payment of deposit will not exempt passengers from these cancellation and administration fees. We regret we can make no exception to the charges and strongly recommend that insurance is taken out to cover cancellation fees. These cancellation charges can vary subject to the trading terms of our suppliers.
Children and extra beds
Children older than 2 years are welcome at Diani Beach Chalets. One child from 2 to 11.9 years is charged 50 % of the room stay per night and person in an extra bed.
The maximum number of extra beds for children in a room is 2.
Any type of extra bed or child's cot/crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by management.
Supplements are not calculated automatically in the total costs and will have to be paid for separately during your stay.
